The board of InsuredHQ is delighted to announce that former PwC Senior Partner Bruce Baillie has accepted its invitation to join its board and that his appointment has been unanimously endorsed by its shareholders.
Mr Baillie recently retired as a senior partner of PwC in New Zealand where he had been an audit and assurance partner for 30 years, specialising in financial services, including insurance. Amongst other roles with PwC he was Financial Services Leader for over 10 years, the Strategy Clients and Markets Leader for six years; and was the chairman of the PwC / AsureQuality Food Trust Alliance (a joint venture set up to start and operate a food safety assurance and advisory business in China and south east Asia) until his retirement.
Mr Baillie, who is also a shareholder in InsuredHQ, brings with him significant governance, leadership and financial management experience, as well as his innovative thinking and strategic approach to business.
Commenting on his appointment Mr Baillie said "I am excited to join the InsuredHQ team at such an exciting time for the company as it expands its customer footprint in the key markets it is targeting by bringing a much needed, truly innovative and modern software product to market".
