InsuredHQ is delighted to announce its role in supporting the exciting launch of a new insurance product in the United States. InsuredHQ was invited to partner with Texas-based company Surevestor Inc. which has started selling a tailored, niche market insurance policy that is brand new to the US market. Its system went live for Surevestor last week.
Surevestor’s founders come from vast experience as leaders in the property management industry. They recognised the lack of comprehensive and affordable insurance coverage to protect landlords from losses related to tenant issues and looked at filling that gap in the market. This led to them partnering with Australian entrepreneur Terri Scheer, who in 1995 founded Terri Scheer Insurance Brokers, Australia’s first specialist Landlord Protection Insurance provider. To this day it remains the most commonly sold landlord protection policy in Australia.
The principals of Surevestor worked with Terri Scheer for more than two years to tailor Scheer Landlord Protection specifically for the US market. This has led to the release of a tailored niche market policy arranged at Lloyd's of London via coverholder Seattle Specialty Insurance Services Inc. This product is exclusive to Surevestor and only available to landlords who choose professional property managers to manage their residential rental property full time.
Where Does InsuredHQ Fit In?
InsuredHQ has tailored its configurable insurance management platform to enable the online sale of Surevestor’s Landlord Protection policy through property managers authorised by Surevestor in all 50 states. InsuredHQ manages all client, policy and accounting information resulting from those sales. This includes automatic management of all premiums, state and local taxes, surplus lines taxes and commissions. InsuredHQ also provides fully automated claims and policy reporting functionality, including Lloyd's V5 reporting.
